A house is probably sick if it's:
- Located over a stream
- Built on a ley line
- Next to a substation
- Under a powerline
- Beside a broadcasting, radar, or cell phone transmitter
- Plagued with serious mold issues
- Been home to a 'grow op'
- Located beside a gas station, restaurant or dry cleaning business
- Near a busy street
- Under an airport flightpath
- Being penetrated by radon
Common symptoms include:
- Allergies
- Fatigue
- Nausea
- Headaches
- Bewilderment
- Difficulty sleeping
- Frequent colds
- Breathing difficulties
- Tingling sensations
- etc
Even if your home's location doesn't qualify it as 'Sick' it may still be contributing to your symptoms, poor sleep and ill-health. Many of today's prevalent illnesses are, at least partially, attributed to 'environmental factors' and that's not just diet and exercise. So if you sense that there's something wrong in a room, part or even the whole house it's worth checking into it.
Within the pages of this website you'll find a wealth of information for recognizing and remediating many of the common provocations of building related symptoms.
Although simple things like fluorescent lights, CFL lights, dusts, molds, dander, chemicals, foods, cell phones, cosmetics, building materials, pesticides, cleaning products, microwaves, ion imbalances, etc., can all provoke reactions, there may be an underlying weakening of the body caused by a combination of badly timed exposures. At Sick House Survival we specialize in analyzing your 24 hour exposures, helping you to understand why some of them are more of a problem than others, their combined impact, and ways of fixing them.
